group lessons
Group lessons teach both basic and advanced material while providing the opportunity to learn through interaction with others. A great way to enhance your social dancing skills while meeting new friends. Workshops and intensives are one-time classes designed for more in-depth focus on a particular aspect of dancing.

Learn the tools and techniques for making every dance more comfortable and more successful! Whether on the social dance floor or in a Jack & Jill, discover tricks to help you adjust to your partner and have a better dance. From tight arms and weak connection to bad posture and poor movement, you’ll learn tips for dealing with difficult partners so both of you can enjoy the dance more!

Break out of the same old moves and open your eyes to creative opportunities in your dancing! Discover how you can use those opportunities – as both leaders and followers – to enhance your moves and develop style. Plus, learn more about how to communicate with your partner to share in the creative process. By the end of the workshop, you'll be making up your own moves!
5:00-6:00 Shaping the Dance
Since no two songs are the same, no two dances should be the same either. By exploring stylistic variations on the basics, you will learn how to shape the dance to music that is either soft and smooth or hard and sharp. Discover how to use syncopations and body movement to change the look and feel of your dancing!
